7 Things You Should Check in a Hotel Room

If you are going to try out a freelance girl in Kuala Lumpur, then you are going to need a place to stay. So, you decide to book a hotel room and went there after a couple of days. What are the things that you need to be looking for? Here is a brief checklist:

Location

If you are going to a new place and are planning to get a hotel to stay, you need to find out the location of it. By this, I mean that you find out if it is a safe place to stay. It has to be quite accessible by public transport, especially if you are not going to drive your own car in the new place.
I recommend that you plot out the places that you wanted to go to a certain location and then find the hotel that is situated near these places.

Safety

If you are in a new place, you want to be as comfortable as possible. This also means that you want to be able to walk around without fear that your safety is going to be compromised.
There are certain mobile apps like Trip Advisor that will alert you if the hotel you’re planning to stay in is situated in a sketchy area or not.
Even if you are using such a mobile app, you still want to go to the place to have an actual feel of the place. Trust your gut on this one- if you do not feel safe, then you may need to go to another hotel instead.

Toiletries

Considered to be quite important in your hotel stay, toiletries are a must. For the most part, hotels would provide you with free toiletries such as toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, and even a bar of soap.
But, you want to ask these things beforehand as there are also some hotels that do not offer this as part of their package.

Cleanliness

This is an important consideration that, sadly, not a lot of people are looking for in a hotel. You need to be in a clean place, otherwise, that is going to pose a health risk.
You need to also inspect the actual bed you are going to sleep in. Even the cleanest-looking beds have uninvited guests in the form of bedbugs.
If you do find some, do not cancel your stay, but rather, you want to alert the hotel officials to fix the problem.

Accessories

There are some hotels that would provide you with a safe so that you can store all of your important stuff. There are also some additional items in the form of clocks, teapots, and other things.
Although they are not considered to be all-important, it is a nice touch to have so you may also want to look at these if you are considering getting a hotel for yourself.

Convenience Store

If you are the type of person that would require some special items like some medicines, for example, then you want to stay in a hotel where it is near a pharmacy. If you want to buy some stuff that you can bring in the hotel, then choose one that would be near a convenience store.

Is the Floor Carpeted?

Ask the hotel manager if the floor of their rooms is just a bare one or one that is carpeted. Although carpets provide insulation during the cold winter days, you may want to opt for a bare floor as they are typically cleaner than carpeted ones.
